Confidence Haugen, owner of Aphrodisiac Nite Club, will lay the mortal
remains of her mum to rest this
The businesswoman and the Big Brother Africa Amplified representative
lost her mother after a short illness on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.
Confidence, who is currently in the Volta region told us that the
funeral will take place from Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11, 2013
in Adidome, North Tongu district of the Volta region.
Her mother, Mama Meworno Atto II (Mama Esenam), a queen mother, was born in 1947 and died at age 66.
The funeral activities include a family gathering on Thursday, arrival
of the body of her late mother on Friday followed by Wake-Keeping on the
same day at the mother's residence in Adidome.
Confidence's mother will be laid in state at her residence followed by
burial ceremony at the EP Church in Adidome, on Saturday. She will be
buried at her residence.
The funeral will be climaxed with a thanksgiving service at the EP Church on Sunday.
Confidence described her mother as the "best mum ever" and added that
she was "the most cherished thing in my life but I have lost her."
The funeral service is expected to attract some entertainment and high
profile personalities form the Ghanaian business and the entertainment
industries.
